I first heard of Glow Recipe when I saw Sarah Lee and Christine Chang on Shark Tank. It was my first introduction to Korean skincare and how innovative it is. Glow Recipe uses natural beauty ingredients and avoids any harsh chemicals to achieve dewy, glowy, and youthful skin. Plus, It’s totally vegan friendly and cruelty-free!
The Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask claims to be a skin-smoothing, radiance boosting sleeping mask that helps with uneven skin tone & dullness. You can use this product two ways, 1) as an overnight sleep mask or 2) as a 10-minute wash off mask. 2.7 oz of this product retails for $45.00 on Sephora.
First and foremost, the glass jar with baby pink accents is so cute; it’s definitely a product I would love to showcase on my countertop. The immediate thing I notice when I open the lid is the watermelon scent. It smells strongly of some watermelon candy I had as a kid, almost too strong for my own liking, but it wears off within a few minutes. The product itself has a lightweight, gel-like consistency I like very much. Two dime size scoops of this mask is enough to cover my entire face easily. It spreads almost like water and immediately feels hydrating on the skin. I personally like to leave it on overnight and wash it off in the morning.
